Human Rights and Holiday Lights Join us in spreading warmth, joy, and justice this holiday season!

Each weekend during Forest City’s Holiday Lights celebration, volunteers from Indivisible Rutherford NC will be out from 6–9 PM, dressed as festive holiday characters, sharing kindness and conversation with our neighbors. While the lights shine bright downtown, we’ll be handing out information about key community issues—living wages, food insecurity, and human rights—and highlighting ways we can all make a difference locally.

We’re also gathering donations for Operation Santa through the USPS, supporting letters from children and families in need that we’ve pledged to adopt this year.

Come say hello, learn more about local efforts for justice and compassion, and help us make sure everyone in our community feels seen, supported, and celebrated this holiday season.
